the other other day i was stopped at the traffic lights and a kid (bout 13) drove past me on a ride on esky. he was going pretty quick so didnt get a good look but it had 3 wheels which included a micro scooter front end.

heaps keen to built one now cause i hate carrying a huge heavy esky about .anyone built one before?

I seen a remote control golf caddy out the markets the other day, he wanted $250 for it :<_<: anyway i think something like that would be perfect for your mobile esky.

I've seen various types of eskys at Bathurst and some were ingenious :spoton:

One had a 2-burner BBQ built on top of it and it had wheels

Another just had wheels and was pulled along, much like a trolley.

Grabya angle grinder, pieces of pipe, bike rims/tyres and a welder and make a trailer for a pushie

Regards ......... Barry

the first year i went to bathurst with my old man (i think it was '03) we saw something very similar to what you described. not sure what engine it was but it was a thumping v8 and he was just cruisin' around on the top of the mount. it looked f*&^in' amazing!! dont think we got any photos of that one.

CHOPPER - the bathurst guys are one step ahead of ya. in '06 we saw one of the trains pictured above and it had everything including a spa!! ill see if i can find some photos of it.

cheers

I was going to build one for the Nats years ago, but then I got over the Nats and never did it.

Nice big esky, Golf cart wire wheels on the back, small mower wheels on the front, old Victa single cylinder, victa barrel fuel tank out the front, victa shark type muffler - think old school altered, esky style.

Hmmmm, all those bits should still be in Sydney.....................

Grant..
