I don't think so, a geniune NOS fuel cap for that costs $1000, a geniune NOS fuel cap for an LH/LX is $50!

Besides, your all still behind in the polls! :tease:

Spanning from Group C racing for that era , production numbers to comply with racing rules for entry by the manufacturers for some of these certain cars .

Holden never intended for a 1/4 mile straight line car.

Just abit of weather...and less weight.

But put it head to head with the A9X SS5000 and the results would speak for its self.

Keeping in mind that the man who drove an XU-1 to victory on the mountain was the same man who did the same in an A9X (among other things :D)

Yeah, obviously... 5 years of development, a V8, you'd bloody well want it to go better...

Since when were we comparing XU-1's and A9X's, though?

I cant believe no one has supported the "Gentlemans Torana" yet. How can the refinement and pedigree of the UC be overlooked?

Its all well and good to have a "Shelia Torana" one that looks good but swears like a trooper (like that chick on Underbelly). That is what these LH/LX things represent. The UC however has a certain style and class that the older Torana's cannot match at all. Its a pity the UC suffers from typical Australian Tall Poppy syndrome. You all know its the pinnacle of the Torana family tree and because most of you dont have one you cut it down !!

I hear there is a bit of class for sale on ebay at the moment, may I suggest that you all go purchase some.

Cheers,

T

BTW - My first born was an LX Sunbird so quite obviously I lack any credibilty as a good judge of car character and with that in mind, the above rant can be dismissed as a mad mans babble :D
