Besides....we're still in front! And there's alot of LH/LX owners, fence sitting!
hmmm i dont know about sitting on the fence...maybe sitting on the fence poles could be closer to the truth!

That would obviously include you, seeing that you list a LX Sedan as one of your cars, if your such a stout supporter of the LC, why don't you sell your LX?

and i suppose the other reason was because it makes a great paddock basher! its got a really good shape to run into trees with. :rockon:

I have owned 5 Toranas. 1st. 73 LJ XU-1, 2nd. Stock LX 6 Cyl , 3rd. LC GTR, 4th. LH SLR5000 and 5th and current toy a 72 LJ GTR.

The LJ GTR / GTR XU-1 is definatley my favourite Torana. Peter Brock has a lot to answer for.

over the years i have owned 4 little torana"s. a 4door lj street car. a 2door lj spoorts sedan .at the moment i own 2 lc 2doors.1is a roller good body.the other has all the good bits rusty body

I have a little Torana. A 1969 LC Torana 4 door, I had a LC 2 door when I was 16,first got P plates,sold it years ago, but just love the look. dont have the money for a 2 door so got a 4 door daily driver,tGary

I'm on my 7th UC, actually it's my second but took 5 others to build it up.. it's a sedan and now i'm looking for a hatch for the missus.

The sedan is a 314CI nos injected 9" T700, and the hatch will be a 202 turbo.
I love LX's and so on but the UC was the most refined chassis and interior.

I just wanted the added comfort and handling, not after a racer, though if I was to build one it'd be a UC hatch with LX front apron etc.

my second car (DO NOT ASK what my first car was) was a $2500 LX...in great nick...just an SL 6 auto...but i have recently remembered driving my uncles chamois LX sedan up his drive when he got home from the banana plantation every sunday when i was about 5-6...might have a little to do with it.....plus i think LX's handle better and are easier to work on (removeable front panels)

Have 2 LH's at the moment, have always liked the SL/R's (and mockups), the 1st one was an SL/R 4.2 for the wife, she had wanted this particular car ( avatar pic)21 yrs ago (her father said no V8 too powerful) and it was by chance that it came up for sale last year so i bought it for her (Valentines day pressy), the 2nd is just standard LH sedan with 186 and 5 speed (no body kit yet, give him time) we bought for our son for his first car (he's paying it off).

LX as that was my first torana it was a 4 door it was what i could afford now i have a hatch that is were my love 4 toranas has been and all wase will be just money dicate's what we drive when we are younger .

Hi torana lovers i own two lx ss v8 hatch backs one red and one blue the blue one is far from being finished but we will get their one day. Brock made me love this car with his six lap win at the mountain i remember it well.

You put up a pic of 3 red XU-1s going down hill, a pic of 3 red SL/R 5000s parked and your name TBM :blink:

Back to the main subject : I personally don't care what kind of Torana you drive just as long as you drive one :spoton:

BUT when push comes to shove :rolleyes:

and considering I have owned 5 Toranas being in order, LH 202 4sp, LX 202 auto, LJ 4-door 173 auto, LC GTR and now the 4.2 SS Hatchback and also considering how stuffed my back is, there is really only one car that is comfortable, handles well, goes like a shower of shit and looks great and that is the SS Hatch. :spoton:
