There is a pic or two of the car sitting in the spray both painted (black wasn't done then) in that link, I will try and get some more recent pics up tomorrow. I started her up for the first time today and it sounds sooo good tho the guy under the car (my dad) with a screw driver across the starter come out in a hurry with flames shooting out of the headers :gun: , he said his ears are still ringing lol
Cheers for the comments guys. :D

Also loaded a couple more of the car..getting closer. Next pics will be with the slr kit on then it can sit on axle stands for a bit so we can sort the brakes and drop it down with the new wheels on :spoton: .

I'll also get a vid of her running straight through the headers once we sort the ignition wiring.. some time this week hopfully.

Well its getting closer and closer one bolt at a time, Almost done the kit now :D tho im not that happy with the bob tail as its bolted on and I think it looks like shit but will have to do for now, I'll keep my eye out for a plastic one with the proper insert. Still im really happy with the car and can't wait to get her on the road.

lol he's losing the wheels and putting something tasteful on (although they wouldn't be too bad without the flares I reckon).

You from NZ rookie?

You can order the fibreglass ones with exposed or concealed (like the original plastic) fixings, all depends on what you order.

Keep up the good work.

Yeah from Masterton in NZ Heath.

Oh I havnt seen many bob tails bolted on but im getting used to it, I think when I put my window locking strip in and the chrome around the tail lights (and drop tank hehe) the stainless bolts may look quite good, and Im doing the stencil on the back too.

Please don't put the trim around the taillights back on... there was 2 reasons that A9X's didn't have it... one was because it saves weight, the other is that it looks shithouse.

haha I like it aye, maybe I will rethink it. I also left all the chrome around the windows and that, I realy like the look of it and most people opt to get rid of that too, just my taste I spose. maybe I will leave the tail light chrome off tho hmmmm.

Definately the chrome around the windows is the way to go. The gear around the tail lights can be alright but isn't necessarily. Each to their own, if you left the holes, fill them with the clips and whack em on :P
