i vote no flares.

almost every modified LH/LX has them. maybe slightly roll/pump out the guards but no plastic for me.

At Easternats on the weekend. There was about 10-12 LH/LX Toranas, 2 of them had Flares (LXCHEV and another one) The rest of them were all flareless! And to be honest... They did start to get a bit boring...

flared is nice, but I think an unflared original say SS or SLR5000 is far more rare and will get more looks now days.

Tim,

You had to know that flared would win. Man they look tough.

Steve, I knew that flares were going to come out on top... If you flare your LH, I've got first dibs on your wheels!

I have always had a soft spot for flares they make a hatchy look tuff , but my brothers first LH looked great with out them so i think it comes down to the overal look of the car

Flared LC/LJ's look sweet, as long as they are moulded flares, not L34/A9X style.

Most moulded flares on lc/lj look dodgy (not symetrical).

P.S. I lost the battle of getting the flares on Ruby

If I had an unflared car at the moment, I wouldn't put them on. They are bit of a pain in the grass with rego, and the big rubber is getting harder to get.
