I guess the late LX one (with the 2 seperate brake lights) would be the pricey ones, as they would have been A9X items...
I personally prefer the LH SLR white ones, they look cleaner, newer and sharper!

My L34 tacho doesnt have the switch on it. To use it with a standard dizzy it needs to be adjusted internally, otherwise it will read double the actual revs.A purely 4 cylinder one was made too with no selection.

Yes. The dizzy has 4 lobes on the shaft to open the points, instead of 8.Is that because of the twin point dizzys?

Good work Bek, good luck with it, you have a nice straight looking original car there, certainly a nice starting base should you ever choose to modify it at all.

There are basically 5 sets of SLR gauges, I decided to go and take some pics of the 3 different sets I have. All are in very good condition so you can get an idea of what they should look like.
first up, LH. There are 3 different types of LH I have seen, the first has miles and KM, the second is as pictured, and the 3rd has 7 digits in the odometer while this one has 6
The next is the early LX SLR type
Late LX type. These appeared in around mid 77 and have the park brake in the bottom of the speedo as you can see.
Hi guy's,
I want to re do my instruments to look like the bottom picture.
According to this post by REDA9X the park brake light on the last of the LX cars were located below the km/h sign.
Where was the park brake light located in the earlier cars?
Regards Mando.

You can see the park brake / brake fail light, and the volts light at the top and bottom of the right hand gauges Mando.
