What do you think of its stance now?

I am loving this car, the more i drive it the more i really enjoy it! I am towing the Torana up to Shepparton this weekend with it. So Hopefully all goes well! I will no doubt get some more pics of the Duo all loaded up!

Congrats mate, nice

I don't have any pics handy, but I've got a VX Berlina (Ex Cop... Detective's?) with the FE2 set up etc, it's riding on CV8 Monaro 18's and is a sweet ride too, the missus is always pinching it.
I get around 10-11 l/100k's all city running, got 7.2 l/100k's on a trip to Torquay fully loaded with the Family....
I haven't seen any pics of you guarding the ute with that HUGE Matty grin....

What's with the pavers in the back? Something to do with your real job, (Not Macca's)

Take it easy with her, don't wanna see you having to spend a squillion bucks on it just to keep it running.... enjoy.

In the future i wouldnt mind getting some VE 19" SS wheels on it. And lower it a touch... but for the moment. I am more than happy with it!
My economy is around 13-14l/100km's at the moment. When i get a bit of cash aside. I want to get the PCM tuned, and a better flowing exhaust. And hopefully i can get the economy down to around 12l/100kms.
I will get some good pics of the ute and the Torana this weekend. As i am using it to tow the Torana up to Shepparton, for a weekend of FUN on the skidpan... So i will make sure I get a pic of myself standing in front of them both... one for the photo albums.
With the pavers... I let my old man borrow the ute for the day to do some work around the house... I don't really need a ute for my line of work (Graphic Designer). I always wanted a ute, so i thought i might as well get one! Plus its really handy for picking up car parts!

They'd look bloody awesome on it though. Maybe look into some CV8-Z/SSZ wheels... They look a bit similar.

You can get VE wheels that have been modified to fit Earlier commodores...VE wheels won't fit, Matty
VE's have 14mm studs, everything earlier had 12mm...

The Centre Bores are smaller on VE's, So they bore out the centres to fit on a VT-VZ etc...
In regards to the studs. There would be a wheel nut to sort out that issue...

But as you said, the CV8-Z/SSZ are similar, and would look just as hot!

King Springs Super Lows all around! Can't wait to pick them up and put them in! I am So over my 4WD Stance! LOL
They came out of another VU SS, and this is a pic of how it sat.

I just noticed I hadnt put any Pics of my Engine bay up.
This is how it looks with the OTR in place!

Im going to Holden Spare Parts tomorrow, cos my Air Speed resistor went, and my A/C stopped working! So im going to also buy some stickers to put on the OTR to make it look really factory original! LOL
There will be some pics of the ute lowered when its done!

Grab a new PS reservoir for $30 while you are there. Makes the engine bay look 10x cleaner

EDIT: LS2 leads??? And who tuned it for you?

They are MSD leads, got them off eBay for like $130 delivered to my door... The old set broke when i first got the car and change the spark plugs! Replacement standard leads were like $125 so i thought id just go MSD ones!
To be honest, no real power difference... But they look better!
The ute was tuned by a guy i know, He just does them himself as a bit of a Hobby! He is in Melbourne, I met him off another forum.

Crap pic below but it makes a big difference. Just keep your original PS cap.
They come with a VE "Made-in-China" style one now

Don't forget to bleed the system too
