ERAZOR LX hatch
Rob’s Holden Torana LX hatchback is a genuine street driven cruiser. Currently powered by a 355 Holden stroker V8 good for 11-seconds over the quarter mile, things are about to change in a big way with a much smaller capacity turbocharged engine about to be slotted into the bay.

Not the best but found this whilst searching, there replacing the V8 with a RB Nissan motor..
Rob should leave the engine as is, sticking a Nissan motor in something as classic as the LX would be a national crime.

Plenty have already done it mate, and im sure plenty more still will in time to come, cant beat old school look's but loaded with hi performance technology, i'm pretty sure the owner of this car's brother owns the LC GTR CGMFLY which is also Nissan powered.

That's the lad that has the Group C modifications? He was in SM some years ago rocking ROH Chicanes, Super T10, 308 with 48IDF Webbers, (I believe he chromed the engine??) If so, I love that hatch.
No its not that A9X Hatch, the one your talking about is owned by Jason Allen in South Australia

Was that the one with the quad webbers and tennis balls in them in the photo shoot?
I think from memory it had a very chrome looking engine, inlet manifold, etc.
If it's the one i am thinking of it was amazing!
Used to have the magazine but not anymore.

Yeah that's the one!
It's the first hatchback I looked at and thought "I want to own that car" as I have always lusted over 4 door torana's. I would really like to build a hatchback now nearly identical to that.

Nice hatch. Great to see so much TLC going into these hatch's.
I was out at the cruise night last night in the car again...and some guy comes up, looks all around it..and says "I can't believe it's a hatch over here in the States" (in an Aussie accent)
I said...of course, it's the only one to have
