I would never pick my car 'cause it will never be a show winner and that's not what I am about.

But this GMPA A9X that I recently had the privelege of seeing eye to eye with gets my vote :spoton: The owner does have the original wheels and it still has the original wheel and tyre in the "boot".
The owner has all of the tags/books etc that came with the car when it was first purchased

i tried finding pics of my favorite but could not.

in 78 or 79 HDT took an A9X to the goodwood festival of speed in England.
this renowned motoring festival has a very distinct australian influence, in fact one of the perpetual trophies for the timetrial is named after an australian pilot who was based at the aerodrome this circuit once was and lost his life in ww11 flying from there.

anyway the HDT a9x blew a head gasket early on and now sits in the motoring museum at this goodwood circuit.

apparently its speedo reading is nearly as low as that red head who thinks holden didnt put efi on the 202.

LOOKING FOR THE BEST YOU HAVE SEEN POST PICS HERE

This is looking great :D https://cache.gmh-to...5/SSA9X/SS4.jpg

I must say THE SS has very good taste.....

There are lots of top hatches in this thread, I can understand why my favourite Torana is the hatchback.

Im not bias but I prefer my hatch's with big feet and flares as flares were in in the 70s....... Im quite happy with the way my hatches look.

regards......

Hehe, i know the bloke who built that Annaconda one.

He's a Rocky boy, runs Buddy's fire sale and service, they deal in fire extinguishers and shit...

Honestly i never liked it much lol, i liked certain aspects but disliked others.

Cheers

This one belongs to my brother (TORANA IN THE BLOOD). Having driven it gives me extra reasons to like it.

This car was for sale just up the road from me just before I bought my Ultra Blue LH, and when I spoke to the owner about it he was in two minds as to whether he was going to sell it or not, as I was itching to get back into a Torana, and after looking at a fair few of them I bought the Ultra Blue car, a week later the owner decided that he was definetely going to sell, and the car sold, I sometimes wonder if I had only just waited a couple of more weeks...

One of my favourite Hatches!
