Thanks for the offer. I do have a copy of the Street Machine magazine. I contacted the company that gave the car away seeking some information and during the discussion I was offered the various promotional posters they used plus a T shirt. The posters now hang in my shed.

Managed to get pics of the feature of my old hatch when the guy I bought it off had it.

As you can see it was a tough looking car

The car was bascally the same, apart from some Cragar "Bob Gliden" wheels, and a 427 Big Block.

I'd be interested in your opinion of the colour. I've repaired one of the front flares and the front spoiler and resprayed them Ultra Blue. Whilst there is an very minor difference in the shade no-one else has noticed or made a comment.

The colour behaves the same as Ultra Blue in the way the colour changes with the light eg: bright light to dull conditions.

If I had kept it the ex wife probably would have ended up with it, she fkn kept everything else

I know where it is sitting in storage, it's still in the same nik too but the guy won't part with it as it's his late twin brothers old car
