Currently 3rd in class of 18.
Just broke into th 49sec mark
Ford Perana is 47.9
Dummet XU1 is 48.1
I am 49.3
Was trying to use 3rd gear....it aint fast..last run held 2nd most of the way...thats the fast way around....
Bring on tomorrow...will keep you posted. Have good in car videos of my runs...C Bond in the car..NOS has shit loads of pics...I was talking to CB at the car..got him the sign the pic, the car,...then sit in it while I duplicated my Bathurst 500 pic of 1975.....I turned around and there were 45 farken people taking pics of him sitting in the car!!...We drew a bit of a crowd...too say the least!!! Hahahaha!
Been a great day...car is still straight...cant say the same for some others...

Top weekend, Rory was flying, car sounded awesome, Torana camp was a hit with the crowd,pity in maybe the last, reacon its my fav. weekend of the year. Also Rob in the black hatch was cutting some really quick times, and plenty of beers with the Falveys, as normal.

Best was a 51 secs , lsd packed it in on the first run , dont realise how much you need them. Lot of quick cars there, Dummett did 48s, with only rear brakes, that was a sight, Falveys were doing the same, Rob was the same or better, track seemed to be a bit tighter this year.

hey all, all you guys had the toranas flying and also looking 10/10.....please dont break my heart rory by saying those are dummy number plates....would love to drive it around on a regular basis....

my old man had his brooklands blue LC replica in the static display.....we would love to run it but if its the last one probably wont get a chance

who do i send $$ to and or blank discs to obtain photos/footage.....I WANT IT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.....seriously

Last run was 48.4, fastest for the class all day...started to get the hang of driving the beast... Dummet held a 48.1 for 2nd and the Perana a 47.9 for 1st. Oh..They both crashed on the last run...Perana took on a pole head on.......

Robert LC and Steve are still on the way home to Sydney...Tell you what, for a newcomer, he can steer a car!..Got into 49s off memory...scared the living shit out of himself twice but will let him tell you all about it...Rockets thing just sounds SSSOOO..sweet.....Falvey boys are piss heads...bless their hearts..Dave was stuck on the grid with me waiting to clear one of Dummets crashes...this is 10.30am...and was asking if William his son would slip back to the tent and get him a beer....funny as a wheel they were..entertained us all weekend...When Bondy was in the car and I was getting the pics..I took about three then stepped back...and bumped into 45 people behind me with flashes going off!!......10 secs ago there was bloody no one there!!!..NOS got some good shots and some video so all is not lost...pissed off my SD card died though..
