There was a post some time ago about what drill bits to use or were best for un picking panels. I can't seem to find it.
What is the best drill bit to use?
Is there a special bit for this purpose and if so what's it called.

I think that the bits your referring to have 2 ends and short fluting, Ive seen these used in the sheetmetal industry for rivet holes. They are about 3 mm diameter, or 1/8" in the old money.

Alot of the time i have just drilled right the way thru with a normal drill bit and use the hole left behind to plug weld the new section in place.
