The LH/X swap is really taking off !! Dirtbag, Berro59, UCGANG (I think thats him !) and myself all doing the swap recently. Its pretty simple and doesn't look out of place, hey you can still buy new lens even !!

If you are planning any sort of bodywork and want to lose the UC truck tail lights then just cut them out. I honestly wish I had done it sooner !!

Thanks again Dirt and Berro for the inspiration :spoton:

hahaha, 'Gang' :)

Look, I actually dont mind the UC taillights, could even say I LIKE them, its what makes a UC a UC. Its a love hate thing obviously that has been established for about 30 or so years. In my opinion, putting any other taillight that's not Torana on them just makes the car look pretty woeful.

I've seen some good examples out there. UNVSM8 has a king of silver shade thing happening on tinted taillights - looks great! My mates bro in law's Blueprint hatch has blackouts on the little grooves and around the edges so it gives the illusion of not sticking out too far, looks also great too.

Perhaps take the attention off the lights with a nice paint job wheel combo? Look at this one:

I wouldn't mind owning that!

The only reason i've changed mine to LH is due to the smash it had when I bought it, and wanted something sort of hybrid, so I was happy to go with that.

So yeah! Why cut out ugly lights, to make the the car look uglier??
