Yep - happy as I know they'll last (pretty much) for ever - however it's quite 'stiff'. My wife complained of a sore bum first time we went for a drive.

Were they noisy, a lot of people say they squike.
Maybe some softer foam in the seats would help.

Thanks for the goodwishes Tom, congrats to you also. :spoton:

Not sure about carrying a baby in the LC, will use the LH for that I think, I reckon they have mounting points in the parcel shelf

I have let the LC run out of reg as I want to freshen her up a bit soon.

Yours looks fantastic, great color, who painted it??

Also I heard they did special runs of Nolathane bushes in black, can anyone confirm this??

Ken Langley, Langley Motor Body Repairs. Ken was also responsible for the paint on my Cooper S. Sadly I needed the money a few years ago and sold it. Apparently it's been sold on a few time now and is currently in Victoria somewhere.

Basically it comes down to aesthetics - wheel trims, hub caps, boot mat, grill badge and a couple of minor bits and pieces. Looking forward to some warmer weather. Not long now.

What I love about it...despite the great colour and great looks ...is that it has come so far from those first pictures. What a great re-build.

Well, honestly I have no idea as is sat around for a while with nothing happening - but, I must say I was lucky as the car was really straight, the only issue was the rust in all the normal places (boot, sills, valance and windscreen frame) - even then, I was still fortunate as everything else was in exceptionally good nic - inc. the floors!
