LETS GO RACING!!!!

G�day Guys!

I think its time for a bit of racing! It�s been a long, cold and dark winter. And we all need something to look forward to and something to get excited about! Over a few beers Gary (Guns N Roses) and I decided that we are ready to go racing! We both have a couple of issues to sort out, so we have locked in a date about 2 months in advance! This will leave enough time for us to spend as much money as we can and sort out all the problems (So we have no excuses)

So the date is

Sun 24th August @ Heathcote Raceway.

It is just a test n tune, so it�s not the official GMH-Torana drag day that we run early in each year. Being the last month in Winter, hopefully the track is A LOT cooler than the last time we were up there (NO VAPOUR LOCK THIS TIME!!!!!)

Anyway, if you are interested in coming up with us put your name down on the list! Would be good to see a heap of Torry�s tearing up the track! Hopefully it�s not too busy up there and we can get a heap of runs in!

Should be an ACE day! Wraith was interested when I mentioned it to him? I'm sure i will be able to talk him into it when i am up there later next week! If he doesnt want to, I'm sure Rach will burn up the drag strip!

Makka, Time for a proper race? See if you can get that 16 Second boat anchor to go any faster :tease:

Rick? See if you can get MU5CLE to drop a few more tenths?

Depending on what is going on, I might make it up there for a run. Will have the new ported head on the 173 in a few weeks, and would love to sneak into the 16s

if i get my ass into gear and finish the rear guards shocks and fix the stato and can borrow a mates trailer i will be there for sure

and get the carby looked at i still got fuel from last drag day in there haha
i was talkign to you a while ago about this aswell

stato is booked into yarra valley transmissions for new torque converter next wednesday then its going on gas doesnt matter if it is on gas or not when i go to heathcote work is giving me 40 litres that week

Hmm, last time i was at heathcote for a T&T there was 150+ cars there and I only got 3 runs in for the day. Not enough for me to balance the books I'm afraid...

Yeah, Can't promise that there isn't going to be 150 cars this time... I think that last time, everyone thought it was going to be the last test and tune at Heathcote... Pity it hasnt been booked by a friendly club that would let us come along with them....

Fingers Crossed for about 40 cars, 18 Degree Day. Not the slightest chance of rain... And maybe a firm tail wind! LOL

Got my car Dyno Tuned tonight by Eric at Goodguys! Only gain 1.2rwkw, but the power through the ranged has improved dramatically! The car is snappy as now! and i have power right up through the range!!! BRING ON HEATHCOTE BABY!!!!!!
