lj 355: Not really keen on the gts wheels,want to give it more of of standard gtr look using vk rims,chrome wheel trim & gtr cap lol.Besides that,don't want to risk using hq rims when I have commodore stud pattern.

tyre fryer: sidewall of the tyres smack radius rod badly,14 in rim touches top ball joint too.You'd need a really thick spacer & that wouldn't be safe imo.

dickie: Pm me your mobile number & I'll send you the pics off my mobile of all the wheels I've put on it.My digital camera is stuffed.

Good news!!!

Just got made permanent at work,go onto a roster & looks like I'll get more time off to do things..bit of a paycut,extra time off makes up for it!

Just got back from engine builder,the big banger 355 is getting there..4 bolt conversion done...tunnel boring/machining & balancing soon after the engine builder finishes off 2 other engines.Top end is done although he wants to go the new torque-power maniflod(haven't seen one yet).LOL..he is keen to finish it off & not have all my parts n crap there..I'm not in no real hurry & just want it done once & done right.
Can't thank him enough for all the advice & amount of hours he has put into this engine.

Bad news!!!

I'm broke as fark paying off the house as quickly as I can,not really a bad thing though.
The gtr is shitting me with the front brakes & lack of funds to do anything significant to it...got next week off so I'll try to work on it more between doing stuff on the house/backyard lol.

Short story:Race motor/parts got stolen & torrie got damaged in storage...can barely look at it let alone take pics of it.

 

Untill find someone I trust to properly repair/paint it the rolling shell will stay hidden in garage.

Cleaning & clearing out garage...do hit it with air blower to 10mm of dust off it.

Ok so the torrie got towed to cousin's house for him to start on rust repairs/damage car got in storage many years ago.

 

Still got monza blue paint on it in places & doors never been off it.

 

 

Sent some pics bit shocking to look at especially with front guards taken off...ouch.

 

Will put up some pics when find the time next week....pics will be bad as his phone is ancient.

Bought new bonnet hinges for it as bonnet sits too high on 2 sets of hinges we tried.


Also bought kustom fab wiper kit hides wiper in glovebox.
Last pic sent of car...also need to get back up there to take eng/trans out so cousin can finish off engine bay and epoxy.
