I also had about 300-350 LBS rears. Torana fronts run at a 2:1 ratio (ie; a 1200 LB spring has a 600 LB rate at the wheel). The rear is completely different,being a live-axial . Aidan is correct,don't over spring the rear. To run the spring rates we are talking about you also need a good shock builder, to control the heavy springs. Cheers Paul.My rears are 300lbs..

Great thread, I have an LX hatch with similar clearance problems and have been trying to figure out the deal with the flares, I think you've all mostly answered that question.
But... who sells good quality large A9X hatch flares? I've found various places online but one look at the pics they show tells me their product is definitely not good quality!

I use challenge fiberglass,in melb., & there are other suppliers forum members rec. There have been plenty of posts on this in the past, you can do a search

Thanks prrojo, have found a couple of references to names which have lead me to some phone numbers, was kinda hoping I could see something more on the Internet as I need to find someone who is willing to send to New Zealand. Time for some long distance phone calls I guess
