Chrome..have a chance for a T10 but it is 1965 model...whats the difference to a Super T10?..Can you upgrade it?...how do you tell the difference?rory i have a 64 mustang t10 in my hj monaro, its a cast iron housing and has been fitted with many super t10 internals, but still has the small layshaft and splines. i had trouble with jumping out of 3+4 but it was because of the wrong selector key pad. it is a great gearbox when warm, the hurst indy is superfast and doesnt miss shift. also i had a toploader close ratio + hurst indy in my l34 and it was way slower and not as precise as the t10. as for strength i never broke either. i have put a full rebuilt m21 back in the l34. full circle...

The 3.89 first gear is a killer....What about the toyota 4spd box's, iv heard super stories of these 4cyl boxs holding on behind some big big HP packages.
Anyone have any experiance on these, there cheap and easy to get.
