Ok, how about a thread dedicated to... ummmm... "rear end" shots!! That's right folks, post up all your sexy photos of those gleaming drop tanks! What have you got to offer - straps or no straps? Polished or painted? Big or small..... bring em on...

Here's some of mine to get the ball rolling:

Not in the same mould as the 120lt jobs but it was custom made and did sit lower than a std tank so I'll put it in.

ditto, the straps with a bit of rubber around them kinda breaks it up i guess.

A little different, but still good for 100 litres and enough room for 3" pipes to squeeze through. Engineer certified, which is one less thing to worry about.....

I think is some states tanks with straps may be illegal!? I dont really know though!

I Like my tank, It's built well and the welding work by Brown Davis is second to none!

UNVSM8: Thanks mate! That shot was on the Eastern Creek Skid pan.. and if only i could have controlled it :P that day was MILES of fun.. learnt HEAPS and definitely got better at controlling the beast!

I'll have to find and upload some more photos.. though i did have an animated .gif as my Avatar of that shot a while ago :P

Oh and as matt sid.. TOUGH thread! Loving these pictures everyone!!

Some one told me a while that with strap tanks (where the straps are exposed, not recessed) you may have trouble running in any regulated track events (I guess in case you thump a curb or the like and it tears the straps then the tank will part company with the car?) I don't know whether this was/is true or not.
