Hello all I have just drilled lower holes in my k frame for my UCA mounts.I read that some people have trouble marking out their k frames and drilling accurately.Well below is how I did it- easier making an drilling fixture and safer than experimenting on your frame.

See below for drawing of template.

Checking template holes are drilled to rhe correct centre distances to suit UCA pivot shaft.(make sure you check both sets of holes)

Template bolted to k frame through upper holes- Now drill through bottom set of holes with 7/16 inch drill.

Please note that this template is for moving UC k frame holes down 25mm if you have an lx lh k frame you will have to change the 25mm dimension to suit your vehicle.I could have drilled the holes lower but I wanted to leave a bit of the verticle face to hold my shims nice and tight.

Cheers Chuck. :D

Gooday Rodmo,
I would like to think I'm an "Ideas man" but whenever I tell my wife how good my Torana will be when I'm finished, she says "tell him he's dreamin".
