Need a few thoughts and opinions though
1 . The tail light base on the left is black although it would need painting properly as bit are flaked off, and the right hand side one is white which makes it look brighter than the left. Paint the bases black, or clean the other one back to white?
2. Tail pipes or no tailpipes, will most likely need them for rego, but I think it looks good without the pipes at the back.
3. And lastly, Use the Holden emblem in the grill or a purple Chev Bowtie, LX CHEV style?

The LS2 is not a Chev motor. It was designed and built by GM Powertrain, Chev are a customer of GM Powertrain just as Holden and all the other GM subsiduary companies are.
It is covered in this thread and many others.
GM Powertrain
GM Powertrain traces its history to the myriad of automotive companies that combined to form GM in 1908. These companies included: Chevrolet, Pontiac, Buick, Oldsmobile and Cadillac. For many decades, each division produced its own engines and transmissions. In time, it became evident that efficiency improvements could be made with increased administrative and manufacturing cooperation between all divisions. The consolidation began in 1983, with the assignment of the Toledo, Ohio Chevrolet and the Windsor, Ontario GM of Canada transmission plants to the Hydra-Matic division. The "marriage" of the Hydra-Matic and GM Engine divisions in 1990, resulted in GM Powertrain.

2. tail pipes for sure, they complete the look of the rear and complement the drop tank nicely - especially because it's strapless
3. no badge. much cleaner look fits your style of build
I've been following your build with interest, well done and good luck with the rest of it!
edit: also, if you're unsure about the tailpipes try them sitting higher.. I was playing around with the position of mine yesterday and in my opinion higher is nicer

Nice work though jeff haha, thanks for going to all the effort, just searching ebay for one like that now lol. I honestly thought they were a chev engine and also really like the bowtie which is why i was considering it, but don't think i'll bother now haha.
