I might just come down to the meeting point and say Hi to a few, then go home and try and do some homework before I go back to school.

The turnout was amazing! I think i heard that there were over 50 cars at Maroondah dam, then there would have been a few that just went to repco for the show and shine. So all up there would have been close to 60 participate in the day!
I am uploading a heap of pictures i took now! I'll put up some favourites and a link to them soon!

Perfect weather made it even better.
Overall we had in excess of 50 toranas show up at either at Repco Bayswater and the Maroondah Dam. We did lose a few who didnt continue from Repco, but what we lost in the cruise we gained in the end by more toranas showing up to the Dam. We also had numerous other cars show up too, from Commodores, Nissan GTR's and Chevs, etc.
Thanks for putting up the great pics LX2DR and MRLXSS.
To everyone that made the effort to come to this event a very big thank-you from the committee of the Victorian Torana Club. You all made the day worthwhile. It really makes the effort feel appreciated.
By supporting these events in any way (even if you dont have your Torana on the road) only makes them get stronger for future years.
Again a big thanks. Feel free to post your comments.
Regards Darren

I heard someone say one of the cars had been in storage for 15years n brang it out just for the 21stb'day! From the original street machine torana club!
Well i really enjoyed the day! The car went well!
I only have one down side to it! The cruise length and way we went was bit of a let down 2 years ago the last one i went on we went up over mt dandenong etc! I know a couple of the others on this one did take alil of there own way to make it a bit longer!!
Thanks to ppl who took photos of my car and all the others (we forgot the camera)
Thanks ALL For a GREAT DAY!
Cheers
Ed.

What's the story with the race cars, are they driven on the road, or trailered? They look PHAT AS!

Was great to catch up with heaps of people at Repco, awesome show of Torries! Sorry I couldn't make the cruise itself, really annoyed too cos the weather was so perfect!

Brett both race cars came in an enclosed truck.
Pity you didnt come on the cruise too, would have been good to have your hatch along for the trip.
Sorry I didnt get much of a chance to chat with you at Repco.
Stedz its good to get some feed back like that, we can always have a cruise through the hills on our way to the event.
Sounds like a great idea.
Glad to see you got there and drove, hope you werent too sore without the medication!
Cheers Darren.
