^^ I agree with these guys, as long as another club dont think the same way, and we end up with a ricer forum with us!!! With 200 stock rollas racing!

So are we still deciding on a location for this?

Most likely if i come it will be in whatever daily i end up with, I would say its impossible to get the coupe up and going that soon.

Yes I think everyone is still trying to work out what location. it has been made harder because heathcote have not released a calender for next year yet so not sure when/ if calder will clash.
I think heathcote is a better venue for what we want though.IMO

I Agree, Heathcote was an awesome Venue simply because they were very laid back and understanding toward novice drivers!

The whole event was aimed toward having a go, and helping the younger guys especially who may never have raced get out there and give it a go!

Unfortunately it seems they cant run these events any more, so i dont really know what to do.

I had a nightmare last night... I was at the Torana drag day... and I hadn't brought the torana and was not racing! I woke up in a Cold sweat! It was terrible!!!!

Got me excited about racing though!

I say we just organise it for a test and tune day up at heathcote in March... Maybe let Heathcote know and pester them for a deal or something? You never know what might happen?

Just sent them an email... I suggested that we might be able to combine the drag day with another forum or two. And also have guaranteed numbers (ie You MUST pay a deposit before a certain date) Also a solid list of entrants 40-50+ i am guessing.

BUT can't promise anything, these guys need to make a profit from the day, or else its crazy for them to run it!

I'd be happier to pay an extra $10-5 to race over a test and tune day if i knew i would get more runs...

I really don't want a Test and Tune day, but I guess I'll settle for any reasonable option we have...

I am pretty sure it is at the airport, and it is only 1/8th mile.
Might be something different to try.

Well if we can have it to ourselves and it's a nice friendly atmosphere and shit, I don't have any problem with 1/8th Mile, definately something different. I dare say 3.9:1 Banjos will go up in price in the months beforehand if that goes ahead, lmao.
