I am proud, as all the work was done by me, with the help of my wife
in the back yard. That was 5 years ago now. She was nothing more
than a rolling shell when I bought her. A few donor cars and a lot
sweat and swearing, 12 months later she came alive again!!!
Since then, all the work has been engine mods mainly. That horrible
disease that has you always chasing more power.
The photos don't show the little things, I wish could be better.

The cook said they were white, i said it was the camera. If she will take the carving knife away from my back I will tell her she was righter than me.Ha Ha!!!
G'day surfmaster,
If you could tell your cook, that it is infact a white
paint pen around the guages.
The flash makes it seem really bright or really white.
In normal light it just looks clean.
Unfortunately the guages are a miss match, still looking
for genuine ones that I can afford.
Did the photos turn out OK?

Yes, that would have been me you saw, we live not far
from coolum.
My car [ tatiana ] doesn't come out all that often, the
odd blast aroud town sometimes. About once a month,
my wife and I take her for a good long run up in the
hinterland...All those winding roads & steep hills
If we see you guys on a sunday arvo cruze, I'll pull
over and have a chat.
Cheers.
PS. not sure what you mean about 'the photos have gone?'
though, I hope they are still there, could some one please
let me know? Thanks

in photobucket you see how there are three links to copy and paste ?
well the link your copying and pasting is a re-directing link, so when we click on it we get taken to that photo.
underneath that link is another one that says [IMG]........[IMG]
or something along those lines. if you copy and paste that into this here thread itll just magically appear without any clicking of any link. hope that made sense.
your car is so clean .. and the interior is nicely laid out. drive that thing more often please!! lol

I am thinking about building an LC/LJ now.

I was going to post these photos earlier in the forum but as
they are scanned from my photo album, the quality and colour
have not turned out as I would have liked.
I have a whole album of the rebuild,
here are a few I selected.
First 2 photos are from the day I bought the car.

https://cache.gmh-to...naInterior1.jpg
Next 1 shows front end rebuilt,
https://cache.gmh-to...ionFinished.jpg
Next 2 photos show the long process of back to bare metal, panel by panel, weather permitting. Moving in and out of the garage everytime I worked
on her!!!!

Spray day!!!! Very nervous first time painting a car.
Homemade Spray Booth.

One week later, buffed and polished.

Good on ya, deluxe_UC, don't think about it anymore,I am thinking about building an LC/LJ now.
LC/LJ's are great little cars........ as many people would agree.
Go get one!!!!!! LOL
