Looks good for me to come up so far. I must check the entrants details and can anyone point me to info regarding the sydney convoy going up there?

I'll be driving this up. It's a little rough, but it has a very interesting engine/gearbox combo. I do drive this car everyday, so excuse the state of it.

Well I have made the decision to go. Even though there's things needed to be finished on the car I don't care. I'm sure others fell the same about their cars and what I have done so far is pretty good.

I would like to fit the remaining mold trims and adjust the hatch this week.

It will great to meet other strange people that love old cars.

From what I can remember, we are meeting at Thornleigh maccas at 6am. I will be leaving home (Ingleburn), around 5am and heading on the M7 up with torailer in tow. There are a few members from the campbelltown area heading up around that time too I believe so you may see some on your way up.

I've been told over twenty Toranas at the moment in the convoy , should be a great sight.

It appears that I am leaving Canberra at 8.00am Friday morning and Jeremy will be leaving a little after 9.00am and hopefully catching up by around Sydney area.
I will be at the first Macca's in Goulburn at 9.00am so anyone looking to tag along or meet up is more than welcome.
Will then be meeting up with Keith on the M7? same place as last year (truck stop) and then proceeding to Newcastle.

Feel free to contact Keith (white Knight), myself or POP's SS (Barry). )
I think we are meeting POP's at Goulburn? (yet to be confirmed) If you want to join us.

Don't forget to log onto or phone WWW.Roam.com.au for your e-tag.

Cheers

The STC are meeting at Thornleigh Maccas 6.00am for a 6.30am departure.
Once we leave maccas and get separated by the ineviitable traffic lights, we are going to regroup just on the freeway so we can travel in a convoy.
We're up to around 30 cars at present - anyone wanting to join in the convoy is welcome.

AND also don't forget to pay the toll on exit of the M7 (Westlink) as the M7 is actually 2 toll roads.

THEN don't forget to pay the toll at the start of the M7 on the way back.

It is only a small fee but it is a pain in the bum if you don't pay it.

Got caught a couple of years ago when I went to a funeral in Newcastle.
Pleaded ignorance to the toll people :surrenderwave: and they then didn't charge me the extra administration fee.
Still paid the original toll. 'bout $2.90 for that short section of of the M7.

Every Torana owner at some time in their life should go to the Mecca of Toranas ........TORANAFEST

Checked the cooling system today ... Barman assisted as he is my mechanic.

Loosed the heater hoses and then also found my thermo's were not kicking in. After checking fans OK and power to relay ... then proceded to replace relay and wulaa ... fixed.

Washed ready for polishing.

Gonna be a Great trip and looking forward to my first Toranafest.

See you all there

I know that Maccas very well. I've serviced their coffee machines a few years ago now. That place has to be the craziest maccas ever.

Mitchg, pm sent about meeting you around ingleburn so we can start the convey early....

I'm very excited about this trip.

I have sent my application today along with the mulla. I'll be travelling through appen road, campbelltown and then jumping on the Hume/M7 near ingleburn.

I could just do Picton road/hume, but that would be boring. I have a spare seats as I'm heading up alone.
