keith is right.its about getting toranas together.so if u are toying with the idea,of going, and u own a set of torana keys.get there :)

it will probably cost u more than the entry fee to park, all day at the forshore

ive seen your car keith, and its no crap box :)

Love looking at car shows, and admire all you guys for getting your cars there for me to look at... but to borrow a phrase from Yella, entering just doesn't 'float my boat'....
Only a flying visit anyway as I've got to be back on the coast by 12.... and I've never paid for parking before?... Keith, maybe I can just park next to you while I go and browse ;-)

Craig A, i sent you a pm with my number as I'm driving up on my own so I can give you a ride.

No need for fuel money as my Torana is very fuel efficient thanks to the RB25.

as you can see there were a lot of quality cars here and goin down there helped me as well i took the missus and my 2 boys with me and the missus can see how much work people put in and seen a few of the prices on the cars that were for sale and by the end of the show was actually tellin me what would look good on mine and also agreed to let me have the money to finish mine off. So i hope you people that couldnt get there like these photos i did see a few of the cars off this site but didnt introduce myself to anyone as most of you were busy with the day, so i hope i havent stole anyones thunder with these photos but you will see mine there next year cheers Ian. m

Ive decided to drive my car up from the central coast should be fun with 4.11s and 4000 stall :blink2:

Ill be joining the convoy at the kariong interchange then up to the pac hwy exit through the back way to newy theres more servos to fill up that way :spoton:

Spotted you on the way home LJ355... you'd just gone through the ocean view drive roundabout at Wambi - I was heading the other way... gave you a wave, but you snobbed me!

Had a great day and met plenty of forum members.

Congratulations to the Hunter Valley Club for organising such a great day. :spoton:

Looking forward to seeing more photo's (I know lx5008 took a few hundred as the club photographer).

Only downside was the traffic on the F3 (near Hornsby) and then getting stuck in more traffic on Pennant Hills Road and then getting hit by a hail storm that lasted for about 2 minutes.

Fortunately torana's are made of real steel and no damage done (thank god).

Mick.

Well I found the storm at Pennant Hills Road, Thornleight, unforntunately.

Stuck in the usual Sunday traffic jam (from the F3) and had about 2 minutes of hail hitting my torana and there was nothing I could do. Fortunately it was only about pea size to 5 cent piece size and hasn't done any damage to my hatch (thank god).

Only downside to toranafest, otherwise had a great day.

Mick.

I managed to avoid any more than a few minutes of heavy rain a few times on trip back. Traffic was woeful for the last 10 thru 4 k's of the F3...Back home at 6:30pm.

Great cars, great weather, great people, great day all round.

Was good to meet a few forum members and have a chat. Sorry Tiny, I never made it over to where your stand was, but at least got to say hello.

And it's easy to win a trophy when you've got the only example of a model there :P
