For a car done up in the early 1990s it still looks well, alot better than the poor Black 4 door Demon which does not look so well atm

My engine builder purchased the hatch "thunder" two years ago but recently sold it. Went for a cruise in it after he built a strong 400 chev and installed it. The car was still in very good cond and paint still in fantastic condition. I will try and get some pics and post. Cheers

Yep, the car in Aussie Muscle is not the same car. Last time I saw thunder, when I started this thread it looked VERY knocked about.

The guy that owned it  (central coast) past away, so it looks like it is up for sale.

The ad in Australian Muscle Car enthusiast is the car when it was originally built by a guy called Stefano after Dave bought it he changed the wheels and added the twin carbs etc Then sold it to Steve Courtney then bought it back a couple of years ago from another guy . He passed away in July hence the sale.I looked at it yesterday its still in  good condition for its age and hasnt seen much use.

The car featured in Aussie Muscle enthusiast and Thunder are not the same car. I've seen the car in AME in the flesh in recent years, it's not the same car.

You may be right but from what I remember It was originally built by him unless he built two?

It was back in the early 90s so not sure now. Had a look in the mag and a few things are different.

I thought the last Kiwi to live in NZ hit the kill switch on the power for both islands as he jumped on the last row boat because he heard the dole is free in OZ.

Just yell out Free Ugg Boots or Free Sheepskin's and KIWI'S fall out of tree's over here. ... LOL

:stirpot:

Actually I am pretty sure I have some photo's in an album I took back in the mid 80's of Thunder.

It looks ok to me. What size is that JD?

Nice to see it still getting around. I see in the background that the ride-on mower is a matching colour, just need to blacken the bonnet.
