If I have one when mine arrives its yours... cant imagine why anyone would not be willing to part with this for a short period...

Hi Aldo

No go mate. I have 2 of the cig light blank off and they are very different.

As I said initially...... anyone that can reproduce these can make money.

Most of the LC GTR's at ToranaFest and just about all of the pics of LC GTR's for sale etc have the WRONG or no blanking plug.

I am dissapointed that 'Rares' consider this project to be not economical ( my deduction based on the lack of involvement in this discussion) AND that no one has come forth with a true specimen to copy.

Plenty of enthusiasm on the topic though.

Thanks to all who care.

P.S just like all the hard to get parts appearing now - tanks, gaurds, door skins - I am positive that eventually these will be reproduced. I'll wait until then

Cheers

Dellas

Hi Aldo

7426303 is for the cigarette lighter. 2807005 is the choke blank.

Hi Guys

as I have said in the past, I am happy to get these done. I already have the lighter plug (courtesy of Ozbox), all I need is the choke plug.

regards
Mick

How so?

7426303 is a plug for the cigar lighter hole in Torana, 'S' and Deluxe.

2807005 is the choke control hole plug for GTR and 4cyl with 1600 eng and auto.

Go to Group 9.743 in the parts catalogue. Both part numbers and descriptions are there.

The numerical part number list at the back of the catalogue can be used when you already know the part number and want to find the Group it is located in.

Same with the Alphabetical parts list in the front of the catalogue. The part description guides you to the Group number the part is located in.
