How many ppl out there have done it this way , pics would be great . Im tryin to do this atm but it looks like i will be grinding for ages ,unless ive picked up the wrong calipers. I can bolt them up fine ,its the tie rod clearance thats the trouble , i will take some picks and through em up shortly

i have HQ calipers on my torana stub axels. They have to got left on the right side. this will make them upside down so every time u wanna bleed them u need to take the caliper off and turn it up the right way

The calipers you have are HZ Girlock alloy. Different hose location to the WB ones used in the conversion thread. You would need to grind as much away as shown in the conversion threrad but hose isnt in as good a location. HQ PBR cast iron are the ones that need less grinding if any. Will depend on how your front end is set up. With the Harrop arms and the PBR caliper you shouldnt need to grind at all. Hose is still in the lower position unless you can find some genuine L34 calipers.

I can post you some WB calipers if you want them.
I've been told that they are the best of all the HQ-WB calipers and it sounds like the hose is in a good spot.
PM me for a price. Also have stubs and discs if anyone is interested.

The best are the Girlock cast iron
Followed by the PBR cast iron

The alloy ones stretch under stress
