Look..If we don't , every now and then stand back and have a look at ourselves we become all important and don't see the thorns.
Tiny is on the money...lets think about what we say b4 we hit the keyboard...we are all guilty..some more than others...but if it is highlighted and we think about it b4 we do it...we can self regulate.
Still the best forum I have ever been part of...lets keep it that way.

The main issue here is when some people get frustrated, they rely on calling others F%^&wits and alike rather than actually stringing a sentence together and expressing their frustrations in an adult way. If you are going to attack someone, expect to be banned simple as that. You can put someone right without acting childishly, and yes I agree with the tissues and spoon, however it's a new age world we live in.

im with red, there is no need for personal attacks and SNIDE remarks. If its a tech issue and bad advice could end up in someone getting hurt, FINE! correct it! but there is no need for the personal attacks. I myself copped a smartarse remark about my motor and bore size etc. Not sure the comment was made because im a chick or trying to get me to bite, i chose to ignore it. I know ive been around motors, racing and street for a long long time. i have built many engines and i have the right to input aswell. I HAVE TITS! GO BUILD A BRIDGE SERIOUSLY!
And if needed im sure Pat with his architechure skills can draw up a guide to the said bridge building!

And if you have an interest in a thread that has been deleted i think PMing a mod asking why may be more beneficial than starting a "why did it get deleted zomg, i will repost my points which i said in the deleted thread so we can start againzor1111one" thread... sorta thang...
ya feelin me dawg?

I've moved on from that now. I organise people to draw the bridge and get the bridges built these days.

I think we as a mod team will take on board what's been said about removing threads, and if there is any way we can leave them there, but closed - and hopefully with an explaination - then we will.
This does seem to be an annual or half annual thread, People seem to get the shits as things become more stressful at work and around Chrissy time i've noticed!
But as most have mentioned, Have your say, TRY and put it in a way that's logical and understandable, and try your hardest to SEE someone elses point of view and agree to disagree if it's not life threatening!
I understand that alot of people who come on here may be new to computers, or may not have the literacy skills that others do and *PLEASE* let's help those members by not attacking and biting their head off if they've made a mistake, or their thread reads wrong... Let's give them the "benefit of the doubt" (For lack of a better word) and try and help them enjoy the forum as much as those with better reading and writing skills.
Just imagine for a second how much they must want to contribute, and love this forum to want to do so... KNOWING that they dont have the skills to do so as well as others!? I reckon that takes guts and shows again what a top site this is, so lets try and help those people out a bit more too!
Awwww.. Feel the *Lub*! Hugz all round.

How about this? If it is deemed necessary to move a thread to the thread bin, do the following:
#1 Copy thread and move to thread bin.
#2 Leave original thread where it was, pruned as needed with the final post by the person who moved it explaining why.
#3 Lock original thread.
I realise it may wind up that the thread in question is left only with the original post and then the second and last post by a Mod/Admin, but it could save a lot of " WHY? " threads.

My trick is, if you see something you dont like, dont reply strait away. Go away for half a day or a full day, play it over in your head then reply. Usually by the time you get back your not seeing red anymore and you can reply like a grown up.
Agree with most things said in this thread.
