Spotted this unmolested 3300 SS Hatch at the local shopping centre last Sunday.

Finally worked out how to download pics from the phone to the computer. :)

A rellie of 'Pop's SS' perhaps :stirpot:

In the "senior" parking space too!

I often wonder if some little old lady is still driving around in something like this completely oblivious to what it's worth?

If it was owned by a little old lady it would be parked in the Senorita parking space.  :wtf:

Actually if you want to get technical, a señorita is an unmarried young lady or young woman, a little old lady would be a viejita

I think this car is awesome as an original paint, original driveline old clunker that no one has #@$^%& with.

Sadly, most cars that are presented or advertised as this aren't this.

IMO, once they've been screwed with, they are better customised. Leave the originality for the few rare survivors.

If the owner is anything like the one in Deagon, he doesn't want to sell and knows what he has. He just has no desire to drive/own a new car.

I often see two Royal Plum SL hatches getting around the traps, one 3.3 the other a 4.2, both unmolested.

G'day All

Was waiting in line to get petrol in Young the other day and this is what I was waiting for

Old-Farts-Car-1.jpg

I know it has over-riders, SS hubcaps, SS badge on grill, SS badge on glove box  :wtf:  and a HQ SS steering wheel but this is how the "old" fella bought it

Old-Farts-Car-2.jpg

Old-Farts-Car-3.jpg

AND no, he did not want to sell the car nor the hubcaps and he had some other specials back at home

It was well worn and worn well with over 300K on the clock

Barry

It's not surprising, there were a lot of people back then that had absolutely no idea what they were doing to their cars. I recall seeing K-mart Trans Am style eagle transfers all over a clapped out looking dark brown SL with sunroof, flares and stockies. Damn ugly looking thing.

I've heard of a stereo but what do you call stereo-stereos, maybe that's the same as quadraphonic sound, but still only half as good as an 8-track?

I get the "big and littles" thing on drag cars, but 25 series tyres wont do his 1/4 mile times any good. Looks nice apart from that.

Looks like it should maybe have P's on it judging by that first shot but probably can't drive it with them on lol.

Totally agree about the wheels, should be fats all round IMO, but still a great looking car.

20 minute parking, you wouldn't have to wait long, screw shopping

Saw this today in Sunbury. Didn't get to speak to or see owner so I blanked his number plate out. Were personalized black Vic plates however incase someone knows it

Was very neat looking paint, interior looked pretty immaculate and even had the baby seat in it. Wish I heard it running but was in the shops
