These Torries came to my news feed on facebook from over the ditch. Are they forum members or does any one know them? I wouldn't think there would be to many XU-1s in the land of the long white cloud.

Any idea if an original colour, and if so, what it is?

G'day All
Went to Jugiong's Bundarbo Station (farm) (just north of Gundagai) for an open garden day with our car club then came back to Jugiong to the extremely well kept park alongside the swimming pool to have lunch
Noticed this nice Torana pull in for a lunch stop and off course took a couple of pics
A 74 Saffron Orange LH SL/R 4.2 that had been rebuilt by two brothers, they had done most of the work themselves, even the spray job but the interior was left as is which was in fairly good condition
Odd thing was, one brother was driving the Torana and the other a GT Falcon probably about XC model and no I didn't take a pic of the Fowlcan

Nice fellas and they did say they didn't want to change anything that was not on the car when they got it
They did change the steering wheel from the original to a repro but they did that as the old steering wheel was very smooth and they were smart enough to keep the original
AND it has no rust

I dunno. A bit lower at the back and a different paint job and it could look ok for a budgie.

I agree and good on him for trying something different.
He should continue that sill blue-out further to the front and maybe add in a window blueout. Not sure what that thing is above the flutes but get I'd rid of it.

I think the lack of front bumper and those mirrors don't help
But he's keeping one alive
So good for him
