Who cares it looks great
I really don't care, each to their own; just pointing out the difference to someone who called it an LX.
Some come here to learn a few things about Toranas, I know I have, just passing on the knowledge.

Fair enough, not having a go in any way shape or form, just saying it makes no difference to the appeal of the car from my perspective.

Spotto Yellow LC GTR in the Mundaring shopping centre carpark,
and as I was taking the Photo, Thomas the owner turned up with his friend John.
I said I was putting your great Torana into the GMH-TORANA forum Spotto thread,
and Thomas said there is one on Facebook too.
Anyhow Thomas said he just put new tyres on the front,
and there is a guy who has a machine that creates a groove for the red tyre wall line,
which Thomas has been using for years, he said.
Other than that, he is a member of the XU1 and GTR Torana Club,
and not to worry about the number plate being in the print:-

....""and there is a guy who has a machine that creates a groove for the red tyre wall line,""......I'm thinking that digging a hole in the tire thingo is illegal ...in NSW at least.

should read what he prints first before engaging posting.
I did question that Col,
as I wouldn't like my tyre wall touched,
and the reply was he has done it for years, hmm.

He probably has been doing it for years and it's not illegal to do; you just can't legally drive on the roads with those tyres, it's perfectly fine to put them on when at a car show and remove them before you hit the road. You see people doing the same with novelty number plates and the like.
Many aftermarket performance products aren't illegal to sell either, you just can't use those products legally on the street.
