It all depends on where you are, Thailand is the same as Oz. Laos is the RHS. Vietnam is RHS as well but not many cars there mainly scooters which is pretty cool
Then there is Myanmar (Burma) where their right hand drive cars drive on the right hand side of the road because a fortune teller told the
leader to shift the country to the right.?????

In reading this thread,
I was thinking how we could do a left hand conversion to a right hand drive LC / LJ Torana nowa days,
as this has been done before, so I am wondering if this was part of the parts list, or were they modified as they were built?
Would be different, and I nearly took up a Job doing Right to Left hand conversions here in Mundaring a 18 months ago.
I recon, left hand cars driven around here look cool, and finding some drawings on this would be great too.

I personally dont like the LHD cars. Theres a fair few around me locally.
One of my acquaintances loves old American Muscle, but wont go LHD.
But he likes the idea that there are more LHD cars over here.
Has found there are more parts available from written off ones.
Apparently they have a few more accidents than normal

Thank's for the Information Rob.
Just occurred to me, that a LHD conversion to the LC / LJ Torana, could get rid of the off-set steering wheel, ha ha
Edit:-
can understand the Smash rate lol

I can.
1. They are usually muscle cars
2. There must be some vision impairment
I bet the LHD ones had the steering wheel offset anyway Dave.

I bet the LHD ones had the steering wheel offset anyway Dave.
and while you are thinking that Craig,
what about the rack and pinion steering being reversed and the steering wheel output protruding the cap side,
with the cap going on what was the steering output side,
and then if that is now feasible with the mounting points of the rack and pinion housing rotated 30 degrees forward?
But a LHD drawing would be great.
Also I just thought that the Rack and Pinion could be out of an American LHD car.

Yeah but more likely from HB.
I don't think I've seen under the bonnet of one so not sure though.
