Nice shots Neil. Its ok to photograph a good Ford lol

We could hear the dickheads on the Sat night whilst we were on the oval awaiting our turn in the Supercruise, I saw some video footage on youtube of some wankers creating havoc on Sat afternoon but the security didnt seem to take charge and bounce the f*ckers out. This is when prudent security staff should act and prevent a situation. These fools were asking for trouble and were obviously well under the influence of alcohol.

I say it again, the coppers and security need to team up for these occasions and not worry about minor traffic breaches but concentrate on hooligans. Its quite easy to have patrol cars running up and down Northbourne to book the major offenders.

Hi, I think security did a good job were they could i did not see everything but they sure had a lot on sat night, a lot more police would of fixed the prob quick smart instead of defecting cars on northbourne av. I camped in the car park and the dickheads carried on til 2 am. Sunday was alot better day (but very hot) with no dramas that i could see. I belive sadly alcohol may have to be banned even though i was guilty of having 2 jds slushies the whole time i was there (sat sun). Its still a good show i loved it and hope it stays in canberra as it would not feel right anywhere else. I met some wonderful people there and had a great time.

What a car - anyone that saw it turn the tyres in the Go To Wo would agree They're 355's under the back too.....

yeah what a beast!!!!!!!!!!! i was on the start line for the go to whoa, and have some cool footage of this car doing its starting burnout and run.
Awesome power!!!!

Yes, the owner and I were good mates back in the day.
Its a destroked 400, roller cam, ported Brodix -8s, Blower Shop pump and a pair of Pro Systems 850's. Must make a bit (and owe him a fortune) but unfortunately it got wounded doing the Go-whoa and is probably on the floor by now. The owner is refitting his tunnel rammed 400 for the Australia Day Street Car Shootout at WSID. Car was running 9's with the tunnel rammed 400 a year or so ago when it was VB green. It is quite tidy but the owners No. 1 priority is going fast !!

If so there is a lot of talk about her on some other forum. Apparently a good looker but got stage fright or something and wet herself !!!!!

its a seriously fast car without the huffer!!! had some mumbo at powercruise

awesome rack on her, and a fine body...the crowd was going nuts when she didnt win and kept chanting for her to come back out. was good stuff.

I must admit i was there (dont tell my wife) at the wet t shirt comp and i was also chearing for number 2 to win. She could shake her stuff and croud loved her but was VERY upset when she did not win. I left when it got a little roudy and checked out club x on norbourne ave.

Yeah checked them out and now iv been blinded, mate walked out with paper stuck to his shoes and i could not stop laughing for the rest of the time i was there. There was a great dance club accross the road that had some very nice girls there but i left so i could not get into trouble

Just got back from the bush after a week of nightshift i know from this thread who has been having more fun than me good on yas .
Looks like it was a great show , i will get there before i die well done to Herne awsome to see his hard work rewarded.

Again a case of security asleep on the job. Any number of incidents there ^^^^^^ where entrants and spectators alike should have been evicted.

Its scenes like those that are behind the failing attendances at the Nats. My not so humble opinion!!!

Only a matter of time before someone gets seriously injured when a car for whatever reason gets out of control but you cant tell the entrants its wrong, they wont accept responsibility and blame it all on the spectators. The sad thing is the day someone does get hurt it will be the end of Summernats and who will be to blame - yes you got it, the entrants, they are killing off the thing they love with selfish stupidity.
