I'll take a camera and will see if I can post some pics. Havnt had any feedback from Renaldo re which car(s) he is taking - makes it tough to work out what Im taking. :blink:

Just a heads up for anyone going to Hanging Rock - it's a fair hike for us so we're keepin an eye the weather.

The Club in charge is keepin their site updated, last one 6.30pm. Check here for updates:

the event went off welll today - I thought numbers would be down but no so - probably 2,000+ cars on display. A few drops of rain but otherwise the weather was great. As usual a vast array of cars, including 3 X LC GTR's, LJ GTR, a bunch of XU1's (mostly LJ), plenty of Monaros, Delorian, DeTomaso Pantera, 3 X HZ Sandmans - vans - (2 Supermint and 1 Vanlencia), heaps of GT's, a few SS's, but sadly no L34's / A9X's. The list goes on and on.

Took some pics, but only if I new how to post them.

I jump started Ian's Velencia PV yesterday morning. He was on his way to clean it up for today. Nice bloke. He was telling me he was looking at Torana's when he bought the sandman.

Did you get a pic of his engine bay? It would be interesting to know if he put a new battery in it.

No - the bonet was down so didnt see the engine bay - nice car though - like the colour.

Yep, it was a great day out. I counted at least 40 Toranas, and I know I never make it round them all! I have pics but too tired to post them tonight. The Dolorian was a fun car :)

Did anyone see a 1950 Rieley saloon? Dad sold his years ago, but I usually see it up there, but not today :cry:

Enjoyed the cars cherpin off at the gate, but one P plater in a white VR/VS Commodore who wasn't in the day, came past, stopped and started doin a burn out in circles - missed my daughter by about 3 feet!

I think the club did a fantastic job given the heat & fires etc to get so many ppl there. We'll be back agian next year!!

Actually I have a 240z as well............ Very good looking cars. Got a nice little LC GTR and an old trusty old LX 253..........
