Haven't seen you car as yet, would have remembered that one. Have only seen a white 2 door so far up here.
Do you have some pics you could send me, be keen to see it in the flesh to.
I take the LC out each sunday, still pretty stock, but that will change soon,

Certainly is clean, one of the cleanest LCs I have seen in about 20 years, were you looking at buying it when it was in Victoria?
I drove it back from the depot to home and couldn't beleive have well it drove,

Grabbed the whele from ebay, 295 with boss and centre. It is quite nice, rim is fatter than original and horn is smaller, but is a good cheap option to original wheel. It's 15 inch in diameter and has 4 inch depth, here's the link to the item

i was shown some low res pics of it over this forum in easter 2005 when i was looking to buy a 2 door Lc from victoria, i ended up with mine as i was more attracted to the rally red/ sandlewood interior combination however yours certainly is in outstanding condition, quite a bit better in the interior than mine was, and would have made the decision much harder, but im happy with where my Lc is at now so who can complain, u should be very proud!

Picked up red 9 port head converted to 12 port, with some port work done and nice small combustion chamber. Has yt valves, not sure if it started life as yt history unknown. Will need a freshen up.
Was going to run triple dellortos, but have decided to run my triple 150s , have some of Brad's repro air cleaners in the post. Will get new linkages as the ones on there are non original type and brackets have been molested.
Need to get the bottom end freshened and balanced, with blue motor internals, healthy hydraulic cam, new pistons etc.
Regards Simon

Car will be off to spray painters soon, has a couple of scrapes on body to be repaired and some tiny rust to be repaired on d/s A pillar, a hole in p/s quarter where someone has had an aerail mounted apart from that body is clean.
Next step is manual conversion, have a blank colomn and rat trap coming from a form member and will fit aussie 4 speed when that arrives,
LC 2 doors are my favourite Torry,

Am going to keep a keen eye on this thread to see where you end up with the car. I kinda miss it but it would have been such a shame for me to tub it
I would love to see some more pics of where it currently is build wise.

I should have searched this forum alot earlier for posts from you Simon. I am so glad you like the car and i am even happier that it went to someone who has the passion and enthusiasm to bring it back to its former glory plus some

Not keen on keeping the roll pins on the back for the indicator cancellors for too long, do they look a bit dodgy to you aswell?
