I remembered that there was two master cylinders for the XD and thought they would be for the disc/disc and disc/drum applications. The part I was thinking of is P10049 which is for the disc/disc and disc/drum panel vans, utes and wagons. I expect that the difference is in the prop valve.Same part # for both
P10050 ... so doesn't matter
Commodore booster and Master on LH/X.

Yes it will suit disc rear.... but its not actually relevant anyway
Since a Torana weighs differently and has different sized rear brakes to a Falcon
Show me a formula that can calculate the desired pressure for a car and I'll start to believe it matters to people like us
You probably use a bias valve on the back that you adjust anyway don't you ?

i have just had a look at this thread and am a bit confused.
i have a 76 lx sedan. (straight rod i guess.)
i want to get rid of the proportinal valve and have a later plastic comodoore style booster/master clyinder.
so what do i need?
i have std torana brakes disc/drum
i do want to up grade them to comodoore later (if that can be done)

I'm pretty sure it was used for the 6 cylinders as well as V8's (VB through to VR).
