Same part # for both
P10050 ... so doesn't matter

I remembered that there was two master cylinders for the XD and thought they would be for the disc/disc and disc/drum applications. The part I was thinking of is P10049 which is for the disc/disc and disc/drum panel vans, utes and wagons. I expect that the difference is in the prop valve.

Wouldn't the crack point for disc/disc and disc/drum be different?

Read it off the end of the cylinder

Yes it will suit disc rear.... but its not actually relevant anyway
Since a Torana weighs differently and has different sized rear brakes to a Falcon

Show me a formula that can calculate the desired pressure for a car and I'll start to believe it matters to people like us

You probably use a bias valve on the back that you adjust anyway don't you ?

I believe you Dattoman, but why wont it fit?
Still wrong pushrod length or Mounting holes wrong position or Booster physically too large diameter?

How is this going rory? thinkin of doing the same. the torana master just dont cut it i think with the skyline calipers.

Is the double diaphram commodore booster only in V8 commies or in 6's as well?

I'm pretty sure it was used for the 6 cylinders as well as V8's (VB through to VR).
