For an SLR 5000 that should have a 308 with auto choke rochester from factory, was the lower dash choke hole fitted with a plug or were the dashes never cut out?
Eg. are all the dashes the same and the V8's with auto choke had a plug over the choke knob hole or should it be flat moulded plastic?

The hole has a simple plastic plug glued in place. The dash is the same across the engines
