OK...ended up 7th in class I think....kept getting false neutrals with the sequential shifter on the down shifts...see the video at the hair pin..then I got 1st and launched again...last chicane...same bloody thing...had to pull it into third to keep going...
Previous run on Sunday morning was the fastest but I ran over the flat black base plate on a bollard and they gave me a 5 sec penalty...mongrels!!
On the way up...notice the black dot in the top right hand corner and on the way down it is in the top left hand corner...thats the Ch7 helicopter recording my run...my office is next door to the CH7 offices here so the boys said keep an eye on him...will try to get a copy....now need to work out what to do about the shifter...
Bloody thing went like a rocket...see me grab 2nd off the line into the first chicane..thought I was going to end up in the boot!
Thanks for Jason/EVIL UC and Rohan/AGGRO for turning up and the moral support...I think the car is on about 8,000 cameras at the moment.
6,000 people on Saturday estimated and near double that for Sunday..it was bloody HUGE!!!
Will stick the link to youtube once the video has finished up loading.

I was so disappointed i didnt get to see Jim on the weekend, was really hoping to get his autograph. Oh well. But i did score John French's autograph and that was a real buzz for me and he is such a nice guy. Thanks John.
