Hi Everyone

I am thinking of building my lx race sedan under the guise of the brabham / muir 1978 A9x given the awesome cars built by rory and rocket just to name 2.

If any one has pics or information on the car, ie paint colours or even if it is still "alive" etc it would be really apprreciated. Autopics has a couple of side on pics and helps a little but obviously the more information i can get the easier it will be.

Cheers

Tim

Gooday Tim.
Most certainly still alive. REDA9X should be able to confirm but I believe the A9X Club's president races this car. These were taken at the 07 Muscle Car Masters. I only got these side shots.

Gday Tim,
Theres a few good period pics in that book Bathurst A9X Toranas, A Photographic History
Black & white on pages 62 & 77. Colour shots on pages 142 & 143.
Sorry cant post pics & this crap PC wont even let me see the pics posted above.
Maybe someone else can put them up.

Everyone,

Thanks for the pics / posts. slr 5640, nice pics and they will help heaps.

I did look at the a9x club website last night and saw it on there as well and will email the club in case they can also assist with info on correct colours and if they have an email addy for its current owner.

Cheers

Racelx, here a few pics I took of the car up close about three months ago at a car show in Bowral. You might be able to see how the inside of the car and under the bonnet is set up if you replicate it to the exact finish, hope they help.
