OMG..... I totally forgot about the little bloke. Um, I know where budgie is, I just hope my neglect hasnt killed him :DOH:

Just prior to Tfest I asked if he could be sent to me so I could bring him down. Unfortunately he didnt arrive in time and he missed the journey and has been at work ever since probably languishing under a pile of paper work I was going to get to "one day".

Thanks for bringing this up Col, I will check on him on Monday and get him back on the road.

Now I just gotta think of a destination to send him to.......

BTW - Where is the "I am a hypocrite" smiley? hehehehe

Poor ol' Budgie got stuck in the floods. All was set to go to send him away and then the rains came, and stayed, and didnt go away for a while. So there he was, stuck in an office with no air con, no company and a fridge full of warm beer and rotting vegetables.

Then the office re-opened again after a couple of weeks and things returned to normal until some wise ol' man promptly posted up a couple of :ZZZ:

to encourage a bald ol' man into action.

Budgie will be on his way again, taking the long route to somewhere north...........

* I guess tomorrow is a dedicated "do Torana shit" day. It sucks how work gets in the way of life sometimes :DOH:

Are you SURE there was warm beer left in the fridge?

Whatever Grant, I really cant be bothered with your petty antics and point scoring.

Potta, when we were finally allowed back into the office the joint was littered with empty beer cans, salt and vinegar chip crumbs and few issues of PlayBird were laying around. HR dept had the audacity to blame me for all of this !! None the less I took the fall for our little mate, cleaned up his mess, did an hour or two of detention and have now sent him on his way.

Okies a quick update to the budgie files.

Sad news tho :blink2:

Budgie arrived in the lovely adelaide hills on the 21th Feb, he had been assulted

I really thought we were going to loose him, straight off to hospital for xrays

the ladies at Mt Barker Hospital looked after him so well, giving him a care teddy to relax him

I have had the boys in blue around to take the assult report and to chat with budgie

Budgie is resting and recuperating, he goes in for surgery on the 11th.

Any get well cards or letters of support for the little fella can de sent thru here or posted to 6 Walsh Ct, Mt Barker, SA, 5251.

I was devestated as I thought we were going to loose him, urgent contact with Big T gave me the strenght to help him pull thru. Lets hope the op on the 11th goes well.
