Well guess who was waiting patiently in the mailroom this morning when I got to work?

Thats right, our good mate Budgie has arrived safe and sound in sunny Brisbane. The little fella seemed a bit tired initially but a good strong cup of black coffee woke him up and he all ready and raring to go. I will spend the day showing him the ropes of life in the office starting off with the typical morning duties.

First up for the day is checking out the GMH-T forums, however I think Budge is checking out the talent in the office. Silly bugger is looking in the wrong spot..... not much talent in the IT Dept. I will have to introduce him to some more pleasing visuals later on.

Yeah he was telling me that you southerners are hardcore party heads. There will be no disco dancing and raucous shenanigans at my place I can tell you. Budge is going to get a taste of good wholesome family life. The little bugger is out of control and needs bringing into line. No sooner had I turned my back and he had run off to "fix things under the girls desks"

What a Pervert !! There I was wandering around the office when I caught him under a desk trying to set up a webcam. Whoever taught him that you should be ashamed. I told him that is not the sort of thing to try in a law firm.

I thought that what he needs is a bit of a positive influenece, you know, something to boost his confidence and mend his poor self esteem issues. I suggested he give me a hand and if he is a good budgie there would be a reward for his hard work. I showed him around the server room and before I could stop him, there he was laying the boot into a server saying "Look at me Big T, I'm rebooting the server just like Corey Parker does on the tele !!" What could I do? I just shook my head in disbelief.... kids these days....

I then put him my pocket and took him around the office to meet a few people. Needless to say most just looked at me blankly when I introduced them to a Sunbird badge. They just dont see past the fact that a piece of metal has personality and character..... twits..... A couple of people even suggested I belong in the looney bin. Anyway, I needed time out from my crazy peers so I took Budge upstiars to the reception area to have a look at the view.

We gazed out upon the Brisbane River and Storey Bridge and Budge had his photo taken.

Whilst I was having a chat to the receptionist about things for Budge to see and do I noticed that he was unusually quiet. He wasnt on the desk where I had left him so I thought "Here we go again". I checked under the desk in case Budge was doing his own "sight seeing" but nope, he wasnt there. I checked the lolly jar and he wasnt there either. Then I turned around and saw this.....
