For those worried about Budgie I'm sure you will be pleased to see not only is he about but he is still up to plenty of his old tricks....

Little bugga wasn't happy the track had a no alcohol policy wandered off mumbling about getting on the gas....

Posted Image

lucky he can't reach the peddles or wheel got himself kicked out for the day for trying to take off onto the track in one of the cars with no seat belt on....

Posted Image

after we left the track we took him round to take a look at the newest addition to the club

Posted Image

Yesterday we meet up with the crew again and how unusual he was no where to be found. Turns out this time it wasn't his fault the mainland folks kept talking about all the road kill about down here but by the looks of it Keith has been doing his best to leave plenty in his wake....

Posted Image

he was OK once he had a spot of lunch at the children's table... not sure our kids will ever be the same again though...

Posted Image

whilst everyone was relaxing after lunch he went off exploring I did tell him not to push the red button in my boot but would he listen Nooooo....

Posted Image

We caught up with him before he managed to fiddle with anymore switches good thing to cause who knows what happens if you hit all that little lot in one go and "Black as Sin" may have been too much for Budgie to handle....

Posted Image

For once Budgie got something right though when he stood drooling over it...

Good to see Budgie is not only up to old tricks but is also having a great time on the Apple Isle. Thanks for the update RG, I was starting to get a bit worried about my old metal mate.

BTW - Love the photo at the picnic table, I hope he didtn corrupt the younguns too much.

Corrupt the younguns?? They've just sat here watching mum read the thread and 'budgie' spotting.....

Had no idea who or what budgie was until he arrived down here.... I am well educated in the ways of budgie now.

I couldn't have got the three of them to do better expressions for that pic if I'd paid them.

There is a bit of a problem though.... Budgie seems to have missed his ride back with the others. He was off poking about probably somewhere he shouldn't have been as usual heard them start up and made a dash for it, almost made it too....

Posted Image

Posted Image

but it might have been a grandpa driving but he was still too fast for budgie... might of had a beeter shot of hanging on if he wasn't still a bit "off" from the gas incident the other day so looks like he will be staying in Tassie for a bit until we can work out how on earth to get him safely back across the big ditch.

To make him feel a bit more at home I took him on an educational outing and introduced him to some distant relative's of his....

Posted Image

He was so impressed he left a little "present" on his new friend

Geeze, Budgie needs reading glasses now? Either he is getting old, his gas sniffing habits have affected him or maybe he is just missing Miss Budgie a lot?

Good to see he is in safe hands though.

BTW - I'm surprised he didnt choke on the tyre smoke that Pops would have no doubt left in his wake. That Pops is a bit of hoon, I saw him cutting sik skids in the hotel carpark at T-Fest !!!

They could be funky clear sunglasses BigT... and dunno about safe hands given my 4yo thinks he is a new playmate and keeps wanting to run off with him. Not sure which would corrupt which the most...

Nope Tori closest I could offer him to play with was the HB :P no Budgie's about amongst TTO sorry (you'd be most unhappy with us lot there is no one even has a UC) I did see this strangely badged vehicle amongst us though .....

And BOOOOOOOOOORED at work.

I can't believe it didn't notice it was my car.... But those ugly sticker marks have to go.

And yes Budgie must come with us on the Charity Run. Can he stick around for our Christmas one too??? Will have to get organised for that soon.... How long is Mitch away for - since I delegated to him.

Watching some of budgie's antics and seeing the after effects of the gas inhaling incident I decided whilst he was here imprinting such a huge impression on my son (who thinks budgie is great) it was time someone went all mummsy on him and tried to get him into line a bit. So we started off our attempt to change his ways by putting him in charge of sorting out a donation for the Charity run last weekend.....

Posted Image

He said he enjoyed his day doing nothing insane and just hanging out with us three TTOers that braved the rain to attended....

Posted Image

although my hubby was a little off when he caught him tinkering with the turbo on his HR....

Posted Image

and he was grinning from ear to ear at being signed up as an honorary (for any future budgie recipients yep I'm pretty sure I did spell that wrong on his card lol) TTO member...

Posted Image

so the next day I worked on getting him a little domesticated....

Posted Image

really pleased when he went missing in the arvo to find him....

Posted Image

IRONING!!!! Not sure what made him decide to do that though I don't do iron so can't claim that I taught him that
