Well done!
Thanks Rodomo,
I have a alloy drop tank in the works aswell, I cut one out of .6 Galv. just to make sure the notches worked out when folded.
Will post pics when cuting and folding.

I've also made the piece on the C pillar of the hatch where the bailey channel is (think thats what its called, the hatch rubber sits in it).
And I made the battery tray, which was an interesting piece to make with those little toffs; I'll take some photos of those later this week.
Cheers

No clean up at all, thats the cut edge.
Dattoman and GML-31,
I have to make the left tail light insert for my car, the only thing that may be an issue is the step up that the back of the light sits against, might have to spot weld some 3mm to raise it up, wont know until I do it. I'll keep ya's posted and see if it works out.
Dont know about making a hatchback (wish I could) but could make some rust replacement panels, that lower support panel took a while to programme in and fold because of the angles. It shouldnt take too long to do now, bearing in mind that I havent fitted it to the car yet so it may need alteration.
I have closed in the ends to try and stop the dirt from getting in, dont know if it will work, just trying to have a crack and stop further rust issues.
I dont think I will make the complete C pillar, I've made the inner zig zag part, if I get some time I might give it a go.
Cheers Paul.

Woww!!, Top stuff= I wish I had your job mate as my poor SLR Needs both Tail light sections redone as well as Beaver Panel plus other bits and the Rare Spares Rust Replacement Panels Never fit right!..
I was going to buy the lower beaver panel from a spares company, but found that it was just straight and didnt have the slight curve that the Torana has, so I caned that idea.
so now I'll make the two left and right sections as the bend is more in the centre and flat on the ends.
I'm not stating that the parts that I have made fit better than "a spares company" as the parts I have made have not been fitted as of yet. (Hope that covers any animosity that may arise).

Put the wood away and grab a lump of steel if anything, it sounds better

Mate what you have done and where you did it is awesome. Im just belting some tin in a purpose built factory.

Thanks mate.
Thanks for all the positive feed back. Once I have fitted my ones and happy with them I could make some for other members. this is a scary thing to offer as there are now over 3000 members and I'm sure we all could do with 1 or 2 replacement parts, might have to back off with the ductwork

HA,HA,HA,HA you've opened a can of worms mate because I suspect you'll be flooding with requests from other members to make them some too, in fact as can be seen in my thread/pics of my S.L.R I badly need both Rear light Sections, Beaver Panel,Lower Quarter Panels and around the rear window,I wish I had the Skills and access to the required machinery to make some too!, let us know how you get on fittment wise even if you cant make any others for members as im sure we are intrested in this.......................I was going to buy the lower beaver panel from a spares company, but found that it was just straight and didnt have the slight curve that the Torana has, so I caned that idea.

Just wondering have you considered the possibility of fabricating the inner tail light section, the boxed section that fits behind that nice tailight surrount that you have made.
I would be very keen to purchase off you if you could make these as many others would also as these are a real rust trouble spot.
I know it would take some of your time to do this but you have teased us with your fabricating skill and now we all want!!!! hehehe
Any way post back and let me know as i am very keen to get hold of a couple of new ones.
Cheers mate
Al
