Hi, After reading a lot on these kits and other kit out there,
I've read the some have Ford BA calipers , other have Ford AU calipers , others have VT calipers and some have used PBR - Upgraded calipers to suit ????? . Some with the rotors, Any one have any info on this or to clear up with direction I should go.
THANKS.

just done this on the old mans lx first we brought a kit from well im not allowed to mention his name and it was that bad we sent it back and got money back apperantly we werent the first to send bak stuff,
then again threw a diff mob same thing they said at first no cutting etc to top control arm then when we went to fit and rang em oh u got to cut this n this!!!so sent bak
finally we went to hopper stoppers straight on no mods just had to file a spacer down 1mm thats it all brand new parts braided lines chose slotted rotters
oh and they even sent me a free t shirt!!so my advice to anyone is to go to hopper stoppers end of story

I have one of their kits,

AU series 2 twin spot calliper,
Hub with standard torana bearings that fit straight onto torana stub axels.
Minimum 15 inch wheels required.

Yep I got the same size kit as scottya. From their doc:

CONTENTS OF KIT

2 off disc rotors (DBA 502) drilled form blanks in Holden pattern or as ordered.
2 off calipers type 2 with pads DB1375
2 off mounting hubs, Holden HQ to WB stud pattern with Holden type bearings, seals and grease caps. Or other as ordered
2 off mounting plates
4 off M12 capscrews 1.75 pitch by 50 long gr 8
4 off M12 spring washers
4 off 7/16 UNF by 1 inch capscrews gr8
4off 7/16 spring washers
4 off spacers 19 mm thick
2 off brake hoses to suit, note that UC will have different hose from earlier cars
2 off banjo bolts and 4 off copper washers
Engineers report

I got a kit mid way through last year, no cutting required, only swapping stubs left to right. They told me that VT calipers are larger and most of the kits that use them also use 296mm rotors (rather than 290mm) which necessitates cutting.

That's what I got. Haven't fitted it yet, but I bar up every time I look in the box!
Got the 4000 series slotted rotors and all.
I payed $1500 delivered (with the T-shirt of course). Does that sound about right to you guys???

Cost me over NZ$2K and that was at a very good exchange rate, bloody taxes and shipping

There's nothing else comparable around that price though. No-one else makes a kit for Toranas that's both easy and safe.

THANKS FOR THE REPLIES , I was going to source all the parts myself , then get the brackets made-up , But as you all know, that would be a lot off running around.

And there is ALWAYS something forgotten or losted . I think the kit costs a bit more, but it sounds like it a good thing and all the RIGHT parts are there ...... And the T-shirt , I can use that to wipe the grease off my hands after I've installed the kit..

not to mention sourcing those mounting hubs might be just a tad tricky...
