hey boys and girls was thinking the other night when i was reading perth street car and i saw a pic of a nice hk gts with silver pinstripes
now i was originally painting my lx casino blue and black and i was just wondering maybe i should go a little different and paint 2 pinstripes on one side like the hk gts does anyone have any pics of that on the lx... i know the gtr had that stripe but would anyone have done it to an lx?? i think it would look different and out there

any help appreciated

Haven't seen it, definitely don't think it would work with a car that has spoilers. Dunno...

You made me do it. PS, I know it ain't HK stripes, but you get the idea. Keep the stripes to the grille area and you'll be right.

I thought HK was just stripes one side, like LC/LJ???? Race wreck has no body kit, cept for front and rear spoiler (and rear spoiler is removable as it can actually reduce lap times due to excess drag on sprints/hillclimb).

^ But don't tell anybody, I'm not supposed to post anything anymore on this forum due to the gossip mongerers!!!!

My project has HKish strites on it Chamois stripes on a Mandarin Red car, I'll have to email some pictures to you as I don't have a photobucket account. Pm me your email account and I should be able to get some photos for you tommorrow.

There is stripes on the front, you just can't really see them. That is so close to being an awesome looking car.

There is a blue hatch gets around down here with stripes as on the above running up over it in silver. Doesn't look not good. Don't have a pic though sorry cause only ever see it on the move.

That ^^^^^ looks ok to me Matt and could work on any Torry in my opinion. Might depend on the choice of colours used though

I have to learn photoshop one day but I learn best when sitting alongside someone and they run through things with me.

a old mate in mildy done red ones on his white LH sedan. i personally rekon they looked terrible, i do however like matts attempt on maddys car.. the purple and silver stand out.
