That hatch looks a bit diferent aswell

Looks like sedan at the back, very strange.
Hatch doors on sedan shell and B pillar moved back?
Found this side pic on the web site advertised on the car.

That is LC Torana. 1969 - 1971
It has metal front grill and LJ is plastic. There are other differences as well.

I think the trim around your grill is metal.
I think the grill it's self is plastic.
LC have a completely different grill to LJ.
Your grill is definately LJ.

My car is LC you see small rectangles and all metal.
Your grill is plastic with larger rectangles and set back further.

Looks more like a 2 door sedan conversion than a hatch.

If it's 1974 it's not a hatch, surely...

I don't think so, it's real LJ GTR 1972
because that's what written in the paper from the government.

I meant the drag car in the video mate. :)

@LC69GTR
i don't know if it is LC, but in the paper from the goverment, it's LJ GTR 1972
That's what i read.

Can you tell me will a radio fit in the hole in the dash ?

And why would a LJ have a LC GTR accelerator linkage bracket they only came out on LCs?

I am sure that there plenty engines laying around OZ that would suit your car Dion, but maybe just buy the parts to rebuild the engine this would be better. :spoton:

I am assuming that getting the engine over to you would be the costly excercise..

I am unsure on what the cost to get it there would be, but I could find out..we ship shit all around the globe... :spoton:

Can you show a pic of the ports on the head as it looks like you have had some larger than standard valves.

I have to go out to the markets and will check the others when I'm back

Yes you're rite.
The owner before me had already PnP the head.
And also the piston isn't standart, he changed it with racing piston.
