yeah, i had already search for it too, but i didn't find the right one.

Rodomo, if i want to buy some parts from Ebay Australia, can you help me?

Because the seller doesn't want to ship to other country except Australia.

If you can help me, I will transfer the money.

It's ok if you can't do that.

This because I'm so frustated to find the original detail part of the interior in my country.

aahhhh the age old 'stripped timing gear'
My dad reckons that this is the number one problem he has seen on holden 6's during his 30 years of working on them.
this is an easy fix GoWa[L]. Rosomo is a good man and very helpful when it comes to ebay and shipping.
good luck, can't wait to see you have this car up and running.
I plan to trvel through Indonesia later this year.

Yep a problem which is getting increasingly more common as Toranas get older haha. Not a hard thing to fix, so all is well :)

Original LJ GTR door trims will not fit your car as it is a LC

IT has LC doors that dont have the cutout for the ashtrays, of course you could cut these out yourself.

It also has LC wipermotor and Firewall

Definatly a LC done up as a LJ

Cheers

good luck with the car

looks like an LC gtr, dressed up as an LJ.

look to see if it has the rear side indicator recess welded up, you will see from inside the boot, on the quarter panel near the rear tail lights.

also chassis number is stamped into front drivers side apron, right near the front crossmember bolts, will have either lc or lj in it.

holes in doors for lc gtr trim.

may find welded/bogged up holes for the gtr badges in the rear quarters aswell.

pins around windows for crome trim to clip onto.

if the gear box is stuck in gear,be sure you put the engine back in properly.
bought an lj coupe cheap because g/box stuffed 20 odd yrs ago, turned out the guy put the engine mounts wrong way, then fitted rear xmember backwards, g/box linkages jammed against tunnel, go figure.

maybe trace back through previous owners, might start finding missing pieces?

I would start turning it back into an LC if you have to replace/find parts, mind you if the chassis numbers are LJ, might go that way?

good luck

guys, this is the pic
rodomo, i already fixed the clutch
i buy the new one, and it works
the only problem now , the transmission stick is too short, it always hit the hand brake
i have to change it with the longer stick.

this is the machine after a long long long sleep :spoton:

Hi Dion
I agree with Rob, your distributor has been changed from an electronic one too a standard points one.
Check your early pics vs your newer ones.
