On the 2nd april at 8.48pm we must fire this thread up again unless Red waves his magic wand ,abra kadabra and wishes it away from us mere mortals, like he did with grampas axe L34

Just for the record, I don't delete something because I disagree with it, or this thread would never have started, look at who started it. Threads I have deleted have been nothing to do with my opinion at all. I'm quiet happy for someone to disagree with me even when they are wrong, but just don't accuse me of doing something like deleting a thread just because I don't like it. If you think I'm wrong, please go ahead and name a thread I deleted or edited because I didn't like it.
The other thread was about a car for sale, it didn't require the old very worn out my cars better than yours comments that always seem to come up. Again, we all have Toranas, we should appreciate what we have, not bag out each others cars. Once upon a time it used to be Holden VS Ford, but these days it's like watching the Labor party at work.

Anyway....lets keep it to a light hearted side swipe for entertainment value. If you can't stand this, maybe sit and watch or find another sand pit.

By the way REDTAXI, how does it feel to own the most common A9X colour and body style? You must loss sight of your car at an A9X Nationals. Is that why you put on the special wheels? Possibly to attract more paying passengers? :P

Feels pretty good actually, obviously the best colour combination then is the most common, which I'm sure white was more common.

Have to agree with Red here up to a point......Flamenco Red is the most popular A9X colour, 82 all up. Then Palais White. Why is this? Resale is the answer, go and buy a Ferrari any colour other than red and lose 20% more than any other colour when you sell it. red has also been long associated with race cars. And Darky, Red does not need flash wheels to know his car. Why else would he have number plates? Bomber, if you ever get over to the West give me a call. Could be the funniest few beers ever!!

I always thought that the color Red was more popular with the female gender actually..although i suppose i could overlook this small detail as long as the car in question is an L34.. :stirpot:

Nope. REDTAXI, Outy Belly Button and Got no sense have all got RED A9X Taxi packs.

They might be popular but so were real yellow taxis. B)

As you would be aware, an (and there are many) advantage of owning a Mighty HB Torana is to be able to take solace in the Inner Sanctum reflecting on the one true Torana.

The Inner Santum is a place where everyone gets along, unlike the L34 and A9X followers.
It is a place where plastic bolt ons are simply not necessary or appreciated....

Go the HB - I rest my case.....

Mmmmmm.......... An interesting point, A9X and L34 owners not getting on with each other. Imagine how those who have both cars feel !!! Poor old Outer with HB,s TA,s and their big brothers, he must be in a state of turmoil. :blink2: Iv,e often heard him speak of the Inner Sanctum

You'll need better bait than that fishing for HB owners. We're united against so-called taxis and "statesman engined" 2 doors :P
